“Can I join Ti-Tone Records if I'm a Middle College or CCP student?”

— Absolutely! Any student who attends GTCC are welcome and can be a part of and participate in Ti-Tone Records. This includes full-time, part-time, Middle College, or CCP.

“Can I be involved if I'm a faculty member?”

— Although Ti-Tone Records is student-led and made for students, faculty are also welcome to join and be involved.

“If I am a student and have a band, can they join Ti-Tone records as well?”

— Your band is welcome as well, only if they are GTCC students as well. If not, we cannot consider all of your band in the record label.

“Who has copyright to my music?”

— You do! Ti-Tone lets our artists keep the copyright to their music while giving us permission to both distribute and perform this music fairly.

“Can I manage myself?”

— No, you can't manage yourself. Our role is to give students opportunities that involve working with others in the studio. Not just yourself.

“I'm interested. When does the label meet?”

— Currently, we meet every Thursday at 1 PM, High Point Campus, room 154.

“What if I can't make it in person to the meetings?”

— We have a Teams link available for anyone who can't make it to our weekly meetings. If you can't make it to that, the meeting is recorded and sent to you!

“If I do join, how many committees can I join?”

— The maximum committees to join is 3. This is to ensure that although a student might be determined to be involved, we wouldn't want anyone getting overwhelmed.

“When can I expect submissions to be accepted?”

— While we are changing the specific deadlines and acceptance dates, we accept submission every Fall Semester!

“Can I still be a part of the record label if I graduate?”

— Fortunately, Ti-Tone Records is designed for students, staff, and alumni! This means that when you graduate, you will be able to continue your journey with us.

Student led. Made by the students (and staff) at GTCC…
